I'm an enrolled member of the Acjachemen Nation and I currently serve as an elected Tribal Secretary for the JuaneƱo Band of Mission Indians. That work, along with my background in law and policy, has shaped how I think about protecting people. I hold a graduate degree in Indigenous Peoples Law and I'm continuing that education at the doctoral level, focused on law and policy. Tribal governance teaches you to think generations ahead. Legal training teaches you to look closely at the fine print most people skip. Seven Generations Financial Services sits right at the intersection of those two things.

I'm Shannon, your new financial services BFF.

The real reason this work became personal happened in a hospital.

Not long ago, both of my parents ended up hospitalized around the same time, separately. Sitting in two different waiting rooms in the same stretch of days, I found myself asking the question a lot of adult children ask too late: if something happened, who takes care of them, and how? When I actually looked into it, I found out only one of my parents had coverage in place. The other didn't. Nothing was wrong with either of them as people or as planners. It was just something that had never gotten done, the way so many important things get put off until a hospital bed forces the conversation.

My Why...

That gap sat with me. It's the same gap I see in so many families, especially families who are already carrying a lot: caregiving, culture, community obligations, and simply the busyness of life.

Seven Generations Financial Services exists so that other families don't have to find out the hard way, in a waiting room, which parent is covered and which one isn't.

Why families work with me:

No pressure, no scripts. Just real conversations.

A long-term relationship, not a one-time sale.

Everything in business is learnable, fixable, and figureoutable.

You don't have to be a workaholic
to be successful. Really.

Coverage explained in plain language.
